Travel to University
The cost of transport in London varies according to how far from the centre you travel. City’s central location means you can travel to most of London’s key attractions at the lowest travel rate.

All-day travel cards allow you unlimited journeys by bus or tube within selected zones. If you regularly use public transport, weekly, monthly or annual transport passes provide substantial savings (30 per cent for ‘student photo card’ holders).

By Tube
Nearest underground stations: Gants Hill (Central Line) University main building is an about 2 minutes’ walk from the station Barking (District Line) Bus No. 179 comes to front of Main Campus Stratford (District Line & Central Line).

 

By Air
From Heathrow, the Piccadilly tube line provides a service to Holborn Square (approximately 45 minutes) interchange to Central line to Gants Hill (via Newbury Park) (approximately 40minutes) From Gatwick, there is a British Rail train to Victoria station (30 minutes) where tube trains and taxis are available.

By Rail
Barking, Ilford, Romford mainline stations are very close to campus. Underground station. Many buses stop near the University. Buses are frequent from Stratford, barking and wood green which are centre for entertainment and outings.

Most students walk, cycle or use public transport. Cars are not a good idea, as parking is expensive. The University does not provide parking.

London is well connected by coach, rail and air. Victoria is the main coach terminal for the UK and, with the aid of cross-channel ferries, many other European destinations. London’s many train terminals include Waterloo station, which, since the opening of the Euro tunnel, has become the springboard for Europe.
